BENEDICT FACE TEXTURE

How realistic do we want his face color/texture to be? Here's a trial where I try to imitate a sickly and porous skin, while having fun with some dramatic lighting.

Flower Benedict

Our dear Perfumist gets the best surprise (and the last...) of his life that him self turns into a flower. The face was given from our team's character designer/ modeler Daniela and flower petals from our Queen Flower designer/ modeler Sandra. It is slowly developing and I am very looking forward to how it will turn out:D

Then we decided to go for the combined look:

Then the modeling of body started. The body was first modeled using Zbrush by zspheres, then imported into Maya for further sculpting and detailing.

However, it felt like the body was missing "character", thus tried to give more unique characteristic by sculpting in much more irregular body line since Benedict has a very thin and boney body:

It's always so fun to see a character take shape!
Can't wait until we've textured him. 

STORYBOARD TO ANIMATIC

It's always exciting to visualize an idea of a story into an actual film. The process of nailing down each shots is always a challenge, but the reward of it is so very sweet. After many numorous production meetings with the group members and revisions, the animatic of our film has finally born.

Very proud of the hard works each girls has put in. Now to the next step.....animate!!!+_+

ENVIRONMENT
